About us.

Richmondshire Leisure Trust (RLT) was established by Richmondshire District Council in 2005 and functions to manage Richmond Swimming Pool and Facilities at Richmond School on an evening and weekend; facilities include Astroturf, Dance & Drama Studios, Sportshall and Tennis Courts. Richmondshire Leisure Trust are committed to providing the local and wider communities with the opportunity to access health and sporting activities and the opportunity to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

RLT is one of a growing number of charitable leisure management organisations in the United Kingdom. We are a not for profit organisation working for the benefit of the community and also a registered charity, which means that any surplus income generated must be reinvested in improving the facilities and services we offer.

RLT are responsible to a Board of Trustees; the 'Board' is comprised of a number of local volunteers who are responsible for different aspects of the operation of RLT.  We are constantly looking to develop and increase the number of Trustees on the Board; currently we are looking for persons of a finance/accountancy background.  If you are interested in becoming a Trustee, please contact us on enquiries@rltrust.org.uk.
