The Swimming Development Award Scheme: Crash courses

We are committed to providing a well established and progressive swimming development scheme with lessons for everyone from babies through to adults.

The Richmond Swimming Pool runs swimming crash courses during school holidays aimed at a variety of swimming capabilities.  These aim at providing either a top up to help develop swimming capability or even just build up water confidence.  Below provides a break down of the variety of courses provided at Richmond Swimming Pool.
 


Children's and Adult's Crash Courses

Beginner:

Beginners classes are based around improving water confidence with a range of different activities over the course of a weeks lessons.

Improver:
 

Improver classes provide a setup in lessons with working on stroke development and increasing stamina.

Synquatics

Synquatics is a synchronised swimming crash course where children are taken through the basics of synchronised swimming.  Children must be able to swim at least 50 metres to enjoy this crash course full of synchronised fun!  For full information please see this leaflet.
